We believe that what makes Stars of Ink special is that our concept and platform is designed with the artist in mind. We are building an organization and company that will benefit those most important to it- the artist. At Stars of Ink, we intend to build a beautiful platform so that undiscovered artist, or those in need of a nudge in the right direction, will have a support system that they can lean on.
We feel that there are great up-and-coming artists who are not being given the opportunity to showcase their talents. Our goal is not only to discover great artist to showcase their talents, but to discover great artist and assist them in becoming great business people, to represent an industry we love.
Our ultimate goal at Stars of Ink is to partner with every positive-thinking artist in the industry in hopes of enriching their lives with knowledge, support and success.
What You Should Know
The vision at Stars of Ink is to focus entirely on designing and engineering the tattoo experience of the future. Our mobile studios will be state-of-the-art, never-before-developed tattoo environments that we plan on introducing as a new industry disrupter. We are creating a tattoo platform and concept that will benefit artist who are looking to partner with us and manage their own mobile tattoo studio. We are introducing a [re]imagined method of reaching and servicing our tattoo clients.
Our studios will be the most sterile and technically advanced tattoo environments ever created. The interiors will consist of all non-porous medical-grade surfaces, including medical grade anti-microbial and anti-bacterial flooring, non-porous ceramic counter tops, and LED-based light sources that emit air-borne and blood-borne pathogen killing signals. These studios will be built out using the Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans as their mobile platform, completely converted into mobile tattoo studios on wheels to be used by our partner/artist. We believe that this [re]imagined style of tattoo shop will succeed based on its unique spin on the tattoo industry's offered services, and more so because Stars of Ink is not solely a tattoo shop. We see ourselves as more of a tattoo artist's platform that can and will catapult up-and-coming tattoo artists. The concept is meant to uplift, support, and encourage artists to reach for success and to accomplish their dreams of becoming recognized artist.
Who We Need
Our brand will be built on the professionalism and talent of our artist/partners. It is extremely important to us that the selection of such be made with a heavy emphasis towards the artist who has chosen the tattoo medium as a way of expression, rather than a tattooist who has chosen tattooing simply as a way to earn a living.
The majority of today's tattoo consumer's are seeking custom artwork. Meaning that the tattooist must be able to conceptualize an idea taken form the client and transform it into a tattooable pattern, designed to meet that clients creative want and requirement.
An artist possesses many more attributes that will contribute to delivering a better product, as opposed to a tattooist who relies on flash. Therefore, it is critical to us as an organization to ensure that all our artist/partners are true artist first.
